Spree Super Lights selling lightning fast

SHIPSHEWANA, IN - Up, up, up. That seems to be the way around KZ Recreational Vehicle product plants these days. Sales are up, production is up, and hiring is up.

While news headlines allude to plants closings, employee cuts, and plummeting consumer confidence, Marlene Snyder, KZ general manager, is thrilled to report the opposite.

"It's just gloom and doom out there in the industry," Snyder said, "but our Spree product is cranking.

"We have a great looking, quality product, that is lightweight. Quality is - and always has been - extremely important to us," she said.

Spree Super Light travel trailers are spacious with slide outs and lots of storage (Gross Vehicle Weight rating as low as 5,500 pounds). Fifth wheels are aerodynamic enough to tow behind a half-ton truck (Gross Vehicle Weight rating as low as 7,500 pounds).

KZ has increased its labor force and production to keep up with demand. The company increased its labor force by 20 percent to run the product and shifted one production line over to the Spree Super Light.

Snyder also said Spree, Sportsmen®, and Durango are all running full production as well.

KZ RV is one of only seven RV manufacturers nationwide to earn the prestigious Dealer Satisfaction Index Quality Circle Award and has earned it seven out of eight years. The company manufactures 13 product lines.
